9. The song “Touch Me” by The Doors is not the original name of the song
The original name of the song was “Hit Me” instead of “Touch Me”. It was inspired by a fight between Krieger and his girlfriend. The lyrics were changed because the band thought that it would probably seem to defend violence against women. However, despite the change of lyrics, the song was still a success. (Ha. Get it?)
