Maynard James Keenan, the founder and sole permanent member of Puscifer, recently posted a photo on Puscifer‘s official Instagram account revealing his latest release and asking Puscifer fans for a favor.
Maynard James Keenan founded the rock supergroup Puscifer in 1995. He has remained the only permanent member and has worked with more than 10 people since the supergroup was formed. After a 5-year hiatus, the supergroup finally released a new album that was highly appreciated by their fans.
Puscifer’s fourth studio album called “Existential Reckoning” was released on the spookiest night of the year, Halloween. The album thrilled and surprised Puscifer fans as it had a more serious tone compared to the whimsical and humorous tone of their previous albums.
Puscifer recently posted a video of a vinyl playing one of their new songs, with which they announced that they will ship pre-orders on December 11th and conclude the second official release of ‘Existential Reckoning’ on CD, Vinyl, and Cassettes for record stores. all the world.
While sharing this incredible news, Maynard also asked his fans to use the website in his bio to check which local stores have his new album. He encouraged his fans to shop locally and support small businesses that are struggling due to the pandemic.
Keenan stated that they too had issues with their initial release due to COVID-19 and showed how everyone has been affected in one way or another. This kind gesture and the message were supported by Puscifer fans who said they can’t wait to buy theirs at a local store.
This is what Maynard James Keenan stated in the title of his post:
“This Friday, December 11 is when the remaining Pre-Orders should be shipped out. As well as the 2nd official release of Existential Reckoning on CD, Vinyl & a few Cassettes to record stores around the globe. You can use the link in our bio to track down & reach out to your local domestic stores to make sure they have E.R. coming in.
Shop Local if you can, please. These stores are struggling to weather this Covid storm. Tell them Puscifer sent you. Covid-19 threw a huge wrench in our initial release. Not something we’re happy about, but nothing we were able to do other than pull up our big boy pants and soldier on. Hope you all have a glorious holiday season. Cheers.”
