Pink Floyd bassist and singer Roger Waters spoke in a recent interview with the Austin Chronicle, and shared the interview link on his official Twitter page.
In sharing this interview, he also mentioned a major problem that he recently faced. As you may already know, COVID-19, publicly known as coronavirus, is a highly contagious virus that affected more than 219K people from the start.
Today on his Twitter account, Roger Waters clarified that his opening speech at the SXSW Conference was canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Here’s what he wrote in the tweet:

Why does it keep saying Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters ?? Waters left the band over 30yrs ago, he even lost the right to use the name in a legal case. it’s JUST Roger Waters. nothing to do with Pink Floyd
