Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx and revealed a rare photo of Vince Neil

Metallica’s co-founder and former bassist, Ron McGovney, has reacted to a recent tweet by Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx, and revealed a rare photo of 1981’s Vince Neil.

Two days ago, Nikki Sixx celebrated Mötley Crüe‘s 39th birthday and posted a really rare photo of the band, which was taken after the band officially formed.

In the comments section of Nikki’s tweet, Ron McGovney left a really rare photo of Vince Neil when he was thin and skinny. The photo also shows the Vince sign.

Nikki didn’t write anything about the photo he shared, but Ron wrote a small message on it. Here is what he wrote:

“My photo of Vince at the Whisky. 1981.”

A fan named Giallo commented to Ron’s share:

“Oh my god, Ron you took that?! Look at you, multi-talented man???”

Another fan named Gringo said:

“Great photo man! Never really cared for MC though, but I get it.”
