According to CTV News, the legendary Metallica icon, James Hetfield saved a Canadian girl named Dee Gallant who scared a cougar with him.
Last week, Gallant made many headlines that a cougar was approaching her while walking.
He managed to scare the dog shouting “Don’t step on me” from Metallica. After the news was heard, Metallica legend James Hetfield arrived in Gallant.
Here is the rest of Gallant’s story:
“I was a little bit lost for words. It’s surreal how quickly it happened and how far it’s gone. The fact that he’s so down to earth and such a great person, I’m very pleased to find that out first-hand.
If you had told the 18-year-old me that this would happen, I never would’ve believed it. I would’ve just fallen out of my skin with excitement”
After a while off the phone call, James sent a selfie to Gallant and wrote this:
“Thought you might like some confirmation that it was me.”
