Foreigner Have Announced Their First Concerts For 2021

Foreigner has announced their first concerts for next year, a pair of shows from March 23-24, 2021 at the Frontyard Festival in Orlando, Florida. The Dr. Phillips Center created the outdoor venue to host events in the COVID-19 era.

“We are very happy to be able to play live again because we and our fans really miss the experience,” Foreigner lead singer Kelly Hansen said in a press release. “We saw the Dr. Phillips Center team care about the health of their audiences and innovate at socially distant concerts, and that is why we chose it as our first show for 2021. There is nothing like it anywhere else in the country. We are very excited to connect with our fans in a safe way, and we can’t wait to play live again at the Frontyard Festival. “

Groups of up to five people receive their own 5 ‘x 7’ box to enjoy the show. Its line-up ranges from concerts with Christmas themes to movies for the whole family, jazz and world music. Nearby restaurants and food trucks will be available on site.

To ensure the health and safety of everyone, event staff, all attendees (when not seated or while eating or drinking), and non-performing artists and their crew must wear masks. Guests will have their temperature taken prior to entering, and anyone showing symptoms of COVID-19 or registering a temperature of 100.4 or higher will be denied entry.

The venue chose the name of the Frontyard Festival because “our patios have become meeting places, where we see our friends and family in an open-air setting. Consequently, the design elements (elegant wooden fencing, steel details stainless steel and lush greenery) are inspired by the sun, outdoor patios and front porches. The venue will feature hundreds of elevated private boxes positioned six feet from each other, allowing guests to enjoy a concert while staying within a healthy distance from others. “
